BLACKPINK’s Jisoo graced the December issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine along with her Snowdrop co-star Jung Hae-in. The two show their breathtaking chemistry as they will soon play the screen lovers Su Ho and Young Ro.
Jisoo and Jung Hae-in already gave the fans a glimpse into their roles. Here they showed their playful sides and looked undeniably cute together.
The two of them pinched their cheeks while the actor held the BLACKPINK member’s head. They also had their solo snaps and showed off their stunning looks, according to AllKpop.
In the accompanying interview with the magazine, the 33-year-old actor said that he chose the new JTBC drama because of the good script. From the power of the words to the story, he put trust in the author and director of the series.
Alternatively, the 26-year-old singer spoke about her character and her real persona. She said that Young Ro’s world is very different so she doesn’t feel confused playing her character.
She also praised everyone on set for treating her like her character, and not because she is Jisoo. This gave her the opportunity to focus on her role, and for that she thanked her staff.
Jisoo added that her fellow BLACKPINK, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa promised to watch her new show. The three of them showed great interest in their groupmates’ latest project and encouraged the Arthdal Chronicles star to work really hard.
Even so, the How You Like That hitmaker admitted that she wouldn’t dare watch the first episode of Snowdrop with anyone else. She wanted to look at it alone at home, although she had no idea how it would turn out.
I think I can only see it through the very small opening in my fingers that cover my eyes, she said. In the meantime, the new drama from Jisoo and Jung Hae-in has its official premiere date and poster.
Set in Seoul in 1987, the series will portray the emotional love story of students Su Ho (Jung Hae) and Young Ro (Jisoo), as Soompi reports. Su Ho will surprise everyone with his sudden appearance at the Women’s University dorm in not-so-good shape.
Young Ro will go into hiding and tending to his wounds, which puts them at risk of being watched. On the poster you can see them sitting together and enjoying the warm sunlight.
Young Ro looks lovingly at Su Ho as he stares blankly into the distance. Fans will soon see more of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Jung Hae-in in the Snowdrop release on December 18 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
