Taeyang and Min Hyo-rin welcomed their first child on December 6th. Taeyang’s agency, YG Entertainment, confirmed the news with an official statement stating that the actress successfully gave birth to a healthy boy.
The couple met on the set of their music video for 1 AM in 2014. They married after four years and announced that they will have their first child in September of this year, Soompi reports.
As netizens began filling Taeyang’s comments box with congratulations for the new father, some asked if his meeting with G-Dragon was a clue to their comeback. The two are known to have a close bond.
While Taeyang described how he overcame a lull in the documentary White Night, G-Dragon revealed how he had successfully transformed himself as an artist. He said that Taeyang always said that he wanted to make the kind of music that he had made and wanted to make for so long.
Compared to before, he has become more relaxed when it comes to showing everyone how hard he tries. He also interpreted all of his songs and stage appearances in his own way, just like a real artist.
It’s been 15 years since BIGBANG debuted and fans are still waiting for their official comeback. The group was set to make its big comeback at the Coachella music festival in April 2020, but the event has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With no words yet about their official return, what are the guys doing today? So far, according to SCMP, Daesung is not on the radar.
G-Dragon and TOP, on the other hand, are immersed in the world of art and pursue their passions. Taeyang has also returned to his faith and posts many inspiring Bible verses on Instagram. As for Seungri, he has been out of business since 2019 following the big Burning Sun nightclub scandal.
