Beneath the Mediterranean Cover Season 6 Episode 2 Recap

The second episode of season 6 of ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ is titled ‘It’s not easy to be green’. In this episode, Lloyd Spencer appears as the protagonist, telling the story of his life to viewers. As Bravo points out, Lloyd is “a pleasure to be around and a great worker who is determined to prove his skills both on deck and in engineering.” Episode 2 delves into his history and professional career. It all started when Petty Officer Malia White went to examine Lloyd during anchor watch.

Lloyd sat down for an interview in which he highlighted key moments in his career, with the exception of his time on Lady Michelle, the 180-foot superyacht led by Captain Sandy. He explains that he has always been a contact person, which has earned him jobs in different departments. He didn’t seem to particularly like the time he spent selling cars, as his co-workers had mistreated him at the time. Lloyd also added that on their first day at the office, they did “stand at a table on the phone calling people, while people threw things at me to make me smile while talking on the phone.”

Other than that, Lloyd was a bus driver in Europe, driving tourists across the continent. This phase of his life clearly involved a lot of travel, ultimately leading to a respectable career on the superyacht. It had previously anchored on smaller ships where it sailed during the winter months and delivered in the Irish Sea. The first two episodes mainly focused on the team members, especially Lloyd and his friends from the Bridge Team.
