Grant Gustin (‘The Flash’) stars as Daniel O’Neil, a state trooper who dreams of joining the elite K-9 unit. So he teams up with Ruby, a seemingly untrainable half border collie. The film explores Daniel and Ruby’s relationship through the former’s quest to fulfill his lifelong dream, which sets Daniel apart from Fields in Dog Gone.
