Harris wants to follow the law on this matter, but he must give up his ideals to save Billy. But when it comes to breaking the law, he can only go so far.

In Your Honor, Adam accidentally kills a boy and runs away from the scene. However, as soon as he gets home, he talks to his father, who then advises him to confess to the police. The fact that his son was willing to do the right thing makes it easier for Michael to fight for him and gives the audience a reason to like them and wish them to get away with their lives. In Chris Lang’s A Mother’s Son, things are more complicated for a woman who discovers something troubling her son and worries that he may be implicated in the brutal murder of a girl. Since he does not directly confess to the act, the mother is not sure whether he really committed it and whether it was a mistake or an intentional act.

The series centers on the man and his wife who try to prove their son’s innocence while the whole world falls apart around them. While Michael has to do bad things for the love of his son, Peter Nowalk’s ‘How to Get Away With Murder’ finds a criminal defense attorney and law professor in a situation where she must find a way out of her involvement in a murder. Some of her students also become involved in the murder investigation, causing more problems for all of them.
