Just over a year ago, Netflix announced the renewal of Ragnarok. In fact, the first season was a huge hit on the streaming platform when it went online.
Norwegian fiction created by Adam Price is a mix of fantasy, Norse mythology, and ecological issues. Ragnarok takes us to a small town, in the heart of the Norwegian countryside, called Edda, where the locals live under a real threat from climate change.
Today, the streaming giant uploaded the trailer for Ragnarok season 2. The new episodes of this fantasy series promise new twists and a fierce fight on the part of Magne (played by David Stakston), who can count on the help of his friends and family. His new powers will allow him to fight against an evil power, inspired by the myths that embody global warming.
The second season of Norwegian fiction will hit the popular streaming platform on Thursday, May 27, 2021. It will also have more episodes, eight instead of six. With just over two weeks since Ragnarok’s return, it’s a good time to revisit the first season.
And if you don’t have the motivation to rewatch Part 1, you can check out the first three photos from the Game of Thrones spin-off set (House of the Dragon).
