What happens in the last episode?
The final episode of the series sees Hector and Lenore now captured talking about the events that unfolded. Isaac and Carmilla face off, and Carmilla prepares to fight Isaac. Seeing that Hector and Isaac reconcile, Hector cuts off his finger where the ring that controls the army of nocturnal creatures is located and, by extension, also cuts Carmilla’s command over them.
Issac, who previously forgave Hector saying that he now wanted to live and rule in a different way than Dracula did and create a better future, is ready to end Carmilla and her reign of terror. When Isaac reaches Carmilla, his thirst for blood consumes her and kills everything he sees. Isaac spares no minute trying to kill the vampire, but she is no match for him and his army as she fights alone. Carmilla realizes this and as the fight continues, she becomes considerably weaker.
Unable to take the blows, Carmilla, in an act of sheer defiance, spits out her last words, proclaiming that she is Carmilla of Styria, before impaling herself with her own sword. Then an explosion occurs in the castle, but Issac, Hector, and Lenore manage to make it out alive. Returning to Dracula’s Castle, St Germain, who has now returned, focuses on opening the Infinite Corridor. He has learned that while he may not be able to control it from the inside, there is a way to do it, by creating a mechanism that can do it for him. Seeing that his journey to find the woman he loves, the one he lost due to this anomaly, was in vain, St Germain is now determined to create a creature of many souls to help him do so.
It is there that he explains to Alucard that he plans to do so by integrating the souls of his father, Dracula, and his mother, Lisa, into a Rebis, a hermaphrodite vessel. For a brief moment, the souls of Lisa and Dracula are seen kissing, before being extracted from hell and placed on the ship. It is then that Death appears, demanding payment for the souls that Dracula would have given him through his destruction.
Castlevania season 4 ending explained
Trevor does not die in his battle with the Grim Reaper in the castlevania season 4 finale. He and Sypha teleport through the same mirror that Varney used. But since the landing point is constantly changing, they end up in a different place in the castle. They soon find Alucard and help him and Greta save the villagers from the vampires and nocturnal creatures commanded by Dragan.
After making sure Sypha is safe, Trevor confronts the Grim Reaper on his own. He previously collected the fragments of a weapon in the royal treasury of Targoviste. The weapon was created by a mad magical blacksmith who made a one-sided murder-suicide pact with God. Trevor knows that the weapon will kill him if he uses it against the Grim Reaper, but he does it anyway, as it is the only option he has to protect Sypha and her unborn child. However, Germain, who is also on the brink of death, sends Trevor to the Infinite Corridor with the key that the mysterious alchemist gave him earlier. When Trevor wakes up, he finds himself on the north bank of the Danube. From there, find Sypha and the others.
Who is the Grim Reaper?
The Grim Reaper is not technically the manifestation of Death, although many cultures believe that it is. It is an elemental being similar to a vampire that feeds on death. It’s been around since the dawn of time and it’s incredibly powerful. However, there are some limits to his powers. For example, you cannot go to hell and bring someone back to life. Like all other vampires, he is primarily driven by his insatiable hunger. But since Dracula’s death, he’s been starving largely because there aren’t many dead left.
Trevor speculates that the Grim Reaper was part of Dracula’s court. But it’s possible that no one but Dracula himself knew of Varney’s true identity. The real reason the Grim Reaper wants to bring Dracula back as a riddle is that the riddle will be even stronger in this form and more malicious.
What fate for Dracula and Lisa?
However, there will be more to come as we see Lisa and Vlad Tepes check into a hotel. Reunited and released from hell, neither of them knows what happened. Both agree not to reveal their identity to Alucard to allow him to turn the page of his life. Vlad therefore suggests that they go to Whitby, among other places. I’m not sure that’s where I’d go if I tried not to murder, but everyone has their own. The Castlevania love story has really come full circle.
