The first season was phenomenal, becoming one of the most viewed series on Netflix in the world. The original creation has been viewed by more than 82 million households and was also nominated for 12 Emmy Awards this week.
Sadly, the company with the red logo halted filming for the second season of Bridgerton for the second time in just a week, after another test for the virus was diagnosed as positive.
According to a famous American media outlet, the streaming giant has stopped production indefinitely for producers to make a new schedule for a safe return of actors and production teams.
The hit series was already on hiatus for a day last Thursday after a cast member tested positive. Filming for the second season only resumed yesterday, but production was halted again today due to a new case.
The US company did not want to reveal whether it was a cast or crew member who contracted the virus. While we wait to see if this will affect Bridgerton’s second season release date, check out the reviews in Part 2 of My First Times.
