Beastars Season 2 Ending Explained!

Rice, a grizzly bear and member of the drama club, killed Tem. Legoshi discovers the truth by comparing the taste of the killer’s saliva with that of all the carnivores in the club. Tem was also part of the club. And he and Riz have become very close. Rice goes to extreme measures to present himself as harmless to others. And it works for most. But according to him, Tem was the first person to see through his facade and recognize his true strength. Riz began to feel that he could be his true face to Tem and developed romantic feelings towards the alpaca.

Bears taller than 2 meters must take a special drug that lowers their brute strength, but has the side effect of causing severe headaches. Nothing works except honey. As Riz grows closer to Tem, he begins to fervently believe that their connection transcends behavioral and social barriers between two individuals believed to be prey and predator.

Rez has stopped taking his medication, then one night he finds himself alone with Tem and devours him. He fools himself into believing that Tem wanted him to eat it. He believes his gesture and Tem’s apparent sacrifice are the ideal culmination of any herbivore-carnivore relationship. After such a thematically complex meeting, the Beastars season 2 finale, which ends with a kind of “and everything was fine” epilogue, is a bit anticlimax, but it doesn’t really seem like the story has ended at this point. If there is more to come, it will be based on a meaningful conclusion.

Rice accepts defeat because her belief in the ideal carnivore-herbivore relationship has been shattered. The confidence and willingness to sacrifice that Legoshi and Louis have shown towards each other has shown him that a world can exist where there will be no division between carnivores and herbivores. Rice and Legoshi are arrested for eating meat, but the latter is quickly released thanks to the testimonies of his friends.
