Have you ever found yourself fuming at random Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and everything that went wrong in the last film of the saga? Because it seems some fans of galaxies far, far away still can’t get over the terrible writing of this film, despite the fact that it’s been almost three years since it debuted in theaters.
Even if you can bring yourself to ignore things like “somehow Palpatine came back,” there are plenty of other jarring plot holes in Episode IX. Many of them were just bad storytelling decisions, while others pointed to the fact that JJ Abrams was basically out of ideas when he took over from Colin Trevorrow and just mixed in something that would sound like a 2 hour movie.
