Just a few weeks before the opening of Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters, countless Marvel fans around the world have lost the opportunity to watch its immediate precursor on Netflix. Since November 25, Spider-Man: Far From Home has been removed from the streaming giant’s library in many territories around the world. While US fans are unaffected, as the 2019 film was never on Netflix in the US in the first place, fans in the UK and various other European countries are the losers.
The second part of the trilogy Home Far From Home starred Tom Holland’s Peter Parker going on a summer school trip across Europe with his friends Ned (Jacob Batalon) and MJ (Zendaya). At the same time, he is enlisted by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to help new superhero Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) defeat the Elementals, giant monstrosities that appear across the continent. But the globetrotting web-slinger soon discovers that the situation is more complex than it appears.
