There’s something really frustrating about superhero movies is that villains usually only live to see the end of a movie, or two, at best. It’s even worse when it comes to the MCU, as the franchise still uses absolute dream actors to play its villains. We’re sure we’re not the only ones hoping we’ve spent a little more time with Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger, Cate Blanchett’s Hela, Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio, Tony Leung’s Wenwu or Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher. (which just happened to be the best thing about Thor: Love & Thunder). Honestly, just re-read all of these names because they are some serious top talent.
Luckily, it looks like we won’t have to worry about Jonathan Majors, who will be playing the big bad of the MCU’s Phase Five. Not only have we seen him before in Loki as the One Who Remains, but we’re also going to get to see his multiverse variant, Kang the Conqueror, in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and there’s a good chance he’ll feature in Loki season two as well. All of this before finally getting to the big showdown between him and the Avengers in The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.
