However, the action author’s filmography has received little critical acclaim, which makes Ambulance the most ironic film of his career.
A score of 69% for Rotten Tomatoes puts it at the level of The rock as the highest-rated episode in Bay’s back catalog, but Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s bank robbery story gone horribly wrong holds an audience score of 88%, just ahead of double act of Sean Connery/Nicolas Cage 85 percent.
