‘Elvis’ is on track to break a huge box office record for the COVID-19 era

Alright, Alright, Alright: Baz Luhrmann Elvis the film is on track to be the biggest box office hit since the first hit of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The biopic, which one reviewer infamously compared to the Wackowski siblings speed racerstars Austin Butler as the titular legendary singer alongside Tom Hanks, Dacre Montgomery, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Olivia DeJonge and more. According Variety the film has grossed $30.5 million since its theatrical premiere on June 23.
