With all the sci-fi fans biting their nails in anticipation of Dune: part twoIt’s great to hear that the film’s recent postponement from October 20, 2023 to November 17, 2023 isn’t shaping up to be bad news for Denis Villeneuve’s production schedule.
Indeed, according to a new report from Deadline, the team is looking to do some pre-shooting in Italy as soon as tomorrow. It’s still unclear which of the cast members will be available for this, but the brief principal photography session will last two days. Additionally, cameras will start rolling properly on July 21 in Budapest, which also served as the filming location for the original film. The rest of the team will therefore join the front of the stage in just under three weeks.
