A nondescript actor mounts a mind-numbing escape on streaming

The single-location action flick has always proven popular with fans of the genre, not to mention a cost-effective way to cram as much set-piece as possible into a single film without breaking the budget bank. One downside is that many of them are quite forgettable, with this year black site slipping almost completely under the radar.

Consider it an unwitting sidekick to Netflix’s recent hit Interceptorand not just because they’ve each received half-hearted responses while telling a story set within the confines of a military outpost that’s infiltrated from within, with both features coming from Australian filmmakers for the first time and containing some recognizable Antipodian names among the moldings.
