Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Release Date

June 23, 2021

One of the most popular releases of this anime season is Tokyo Revengers. As popular as Ken Wakui’s manga series, the series continues to live up to the excitement it has garnered from day one. While the first season is far from over, the question of whether there will be a season 2 of the series is already making noise.

Following Takemichi’s story, his travels through the past, and his goal to save the only girl he ever loved, Hinata, from a gruesome death in the future, Tokyo Revengers has piqued the interest of many since the manga series premiere. And the fact that the animated series appeared even helped increase sales of the print version.

Tokyo Revengers Season 1 could end the confusion between Part 2 and Season 2, given that the anime will have 24 episodes in a double yard. For those who do not know what a court is, this is the way to measure the duration of an animated series during a three-month period of the television broadcast of the program.

In the case of Tokyo Revengers, it will be a double track, which means that the series will run for six months in total. To better understand, the series will air as part of two anime seasons this year, in the spring and summer, with no breaks for three months or no breaks for an entire season. Part 2 and Season 2 generally confuse viewers, as some mistake Part 2 for another season.

Will there be a season 2 of Tokyo Revengers?

No one knows if there will be a season 2. To this day, there is still no official information or announcement from Liden Films or even Crunchyroll about the second season of Tokyo Revengers. The truth is that the series will immediately feature Part 2 of their courtship from July 4 to September 19.

However, Tokyo Revengers is rumored to have already started work on the second season, as evidenced by a Chifuyu post on Twitter, and fans are awaiting the official announcement. Previously, it was announced that Tokyo Revengers will host a special anime event in Japan on December 18, which is close to the Jump Fiesta schedule, a suitable time to see if there will be another season for the series. Who knows, maybe that’s when the special announcement will be made.

Tokyo Revengers releases new episodes weekly via Crunchyroll at 2:07 am JST / 11:07 am PT / 12:07 am CT / 2:07 am EST / 7:07 am BST. The streaming platform has also confirmed that the animated series will be available in its English dubbed version.
