The Owl House Season 2 Episode 8 Recap

In the eighth episode of season 2 of “The Owl House” titled “Knock, knock, knock on Hooty’s door,” Lilith receives a touching letter from Hooty thanking him for his help. Eda is still deeply troubled by his curse, and King loses his mind because he doesn’t know what kind of demon he is. Luz, on the other hand, must deal with her unresolved emotions towards Amity. Hooty then comes to the rescue once more. First, he takes King through a series of tests to analyze what kind of demon he identifies with, but the plan fails and King lets out a powerful echo in anger.

Hooty puts Eda to sleep as a form of therapy in which she delves into her past and all of her personal problems caused by the curse. So, Eda finds the courage to endure the curse and wakes up with a positive feeling. Hooty kidnaps Amity and plants her in a love tunnel with Luz, who is later embarrassed to confess her feelings. Hooty is disappointed with the results, thinking that he couldn’t help his friends, but it is later revealed that King and Eda got rid of their problems thanks to Hooty. Luz and Amity have also come to terms with their feelings for each other. Hooty then writes a letter to Lilith and prepares to send another one addressed to King, but accidentally gobbles it up after detecting a mistake in it.
