Episode 4 of Season 2, Part 2, titled “The Congress Dances,” will air on July 27, 2021 in Japan. The episode will be available at various times on Tokyo MX, BS11, tvk, and MBS. Eight Bit Studios developed the series, with Youhei Itou and Shigeto Sugimoto serving as producers. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu led the writing team, and Atsushi Nakayama replaced Yasuhito Kikuchi as director in the second season. Elements Garden provided the music, while Ryouma Ebata provided the character designs and Takahiro Kishida provided the monster designs. MindaRyn performed the opening theme for Part 2, “Like Flames,” and Takuma Terashima performed the ending theme, “Reincarnate.”

In Episode 3, although Ramiris has come to warn Tempest of impending danger, she faints when she realizes that Veldora has returned. Then the meeting continues. Rimuru reveals his plans to start a civil war in Falmuth. He wants to tear down the entire kingdom so he can rebuild it. When Rimuru announces that he wants Youm to become the next king of Falmuth, Gazeru Dwargo decides to put the human to the test. Satisfied with what he finds, he declares his support for Rimuru’s actions in this matter. Elalude Grimwald decides to put Rimuru himself to the test and asks him what the new demon lord wants to do with his powers. When Rimuru replies that he wants to improve everyone’s life, Elalude declares her support for Rimuru.
The meeting ends when Rimuru decides to confront the Clayman. Meanwhile, Laplace visits Clayman and hints that the latter might be controlled by someone else.
