Release date for Disenchantment season 4

May 8, 2021

Cartoonist Matt Groening never tires of poking fun at society and popular culture as a whole. Its cult adult animation show “The Simpsons” parodies a modern middle-class American society living under the threat of a nuclear holocaust, and “Futurama” pokes fun at the sci-fi genre through its eccentric style of black comedy. . After exploring the present and the future, Groening returns to a fantastic past in his Netflix adult comedy “Disenchantment,” where demons, elves and ogres coexist with humans.

The story (which is decidedly a parody of Disney princess tales) follows a drunken princess who defies authority, Bean, her fellow elf Elfo, and their demon Luci, who embark on strange adventures. After its initial premiere in August 2018, the series has spawned three seasons thus far, garnering mostly positive reviews due to the compelling characters and typical Groening humor.

After two successful and entertaining seasons of fun and harmless shenanigans, the third season takes on more serious issues as a story of epic scale unfolds. Season 3 ends on a dark and sinister note, and viewers must speculate on Bean’s fate. If you’re wondering where the fourth episode is, let us reveal everything we know to you.

Disenchantment Season 4 Release Date

Season 3 of “Disenchantment” premiered in its entirety on January 15, 2021 on Netflix. The third chapter of the animated series consists of ten episodes that vary in duration between 22 and 36 minutes per episode.

Now let’s reveal what we know about the highly anticipated fourth episode of the tongue-in-cheek comedy. Well, fans will be delighted to learn that the series is scheduled to have at least ten more episodes, as agreed to by Netflix. In October 2018, the streaming platform gave the green light to the production of a second volume of twenty episodes, the first part of which (part 3) has already been published. Therefore, fans can safely assume that another season is on the way.

However, the development of the fourth season is still shrouded in medieval obscurity, as there has been no official disclosure indicating the start of production. Needless to say, the premiere date for the fourth episode has yet to be officially set. However, if we follow the trend of previous seasons, we can assume that season 4 (or part 4) of “Disenchantment” will be released in 2022.

The cast of Disenchantment season 4: Who can be a part of it?

All of the main voice actors will reprise their respective characters in the next episode of the fantasy series. Abbi Jacobson will voice the character of the rebellious Princess (turned Queen) Bean, while Nat Faxon will voice the adorable teenage elf Elf. Maurice LaMarche will reprise the role of the scheming Prime Minister Odval, alongside Sharon Horgan, who will play Queen Dagmar, Bean’s oppressive mother. Famous artist John DiMaggio will lend his voice to the character of King Zøg, the former ruler of Dreamland.

Tress MacNeille will introduce the character of Queen Oona, the former king’s second wife. In addition, Matt Berry will play Prince Merkimer (metamorphosed into a pig). Eric Andre will play the character of Pendergast, the army commander. Andre is also the voice behind the demon, but since the demon dies in the final part of the third part, we don’t know if he will reprise that double role.

Disenchantment season 4 plot: what is it?

After a bumpy start to the first two seasons, the series picked up the pace for season three, which turned out to be the best of the three in terms of reception. The season 3 finale gets more and more serious as the episode draws to a close. And the final suspense naturally leaves fans speechless. In the tenth episode, Zøg is apparently unfit to rule the kingdom, and Bean is named queen (with a reference to “The Crown”). Well, the crown is too big for Bean’s head, both literally and metaphorically.

As soon as he steps out onto the balcony to address people, the green smoke signals the return of Big Jo and Porky, who apologize for his past behavior. The skeptical Bean sends them to the dungeon, but Odval and Big Jo appear to be conspiring on behalf of a secret society. Also, the kingdom is under attack by a horde of ogres, who want Elfo. Bean does everything in his royal power to save Elfo, but the latter sacrifices himself. Bean receives a surprise visit from his mother, and together they take an elevator to hell. In the final moments, Luci dies in the elevator and wakes up in the sky, Zøg is taken to a madhouse, and Bean is married to a mysterious shadow.

Season 4 or Part 4 will, in all likelihood, resume the final suspense and reveal the identity of the Devil. Bean’s gang has dispersed, but Elfo is still alive. Bean could go on a trip to save Elfo. Luci may be the first demon to meet in heaven and will most likely return in the next season.

However, speaking to Variety, Groening cautioned that “beloved characters are being eliminated,” which means we may not see Luci again. We will surely have more information about Odval’s mysterious plot. Additionally, the season will explore new territories as the kingdom map expands. Rest assured, the upcoming season will have more twists and turns and fantastic creatures as you propel Bean’s journey forward.
