The Walking Dead season 11 release date

Season 11 of ‘The Walking Dead’ premieres on August 22, 2021 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. The episodes will last approximately 41 to 67 minutes each. The 24-episode season will be divided into three eight-episode blocks. The second batch could arrive in late 2021 or early 2022, with the last one expected to land in the spring or summer of 2022.

Season 11 was announced on October 5, 2019, during New York Comic-Con. But on September 9, 2020, it was revealed that the upcoming season will be the last of the popular AMC show. Production of the eleventh installment did not start until February 2021 due to delays caused by the pandemic. New seasons typically arrive in October, making Season 11 the first and only issue to air in the summer.

At the end of season 10, most of the main characters meet in Alexandria. This includes Carol and Daryl, who still have work to do.
