Preview: Tokyo Revengers Episode 14

Based on a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, “Tokyo Revengers” is a Shounen action television anime with elements of science fiction and romance. The story is that of Takemichi Hanagaki, a young man in his twenties, who is pushed in front of an arriving train and discovers that his adult consciousness has been transported to his university body. Wanting to make the most of the opportunity presented to him, he decides to save his girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, who was killed by the infamous Tokyo Manji Gang or Toman.

He receives help from Naoto, Hinata’s brother, who will be a police officer in the future. By shaking Naoto’s hand, Takemichi can travel back in time. The series first aired on April 11, 2021. Here’s everything you need to know about the next installment in the series.

Release date for Tokyo Revengers Episode 14

The premiere of episode 14 of “Tokyo Revengers” is scheduled for July 11, 2021 in Japan. The episode will air repeatedly on MBS, TV Tokyo, TV Aichi, TVh, TVQ, BS Asahi, AT-X, TSK, QAB, and RKK. On March 30, 2021, the series premiered in Japan where important scenes from the first three episodes were aired together. Liden Films Studios developed the series, with Kouichi Hatsumi as lead director and Yasuyuki Mutou as lead screenwriter. Hiroaki Tsutsumi created the music and Kenichi Oonuki and Keiko Oota designed the characters. Pop group Official HiGE DANdism sang the show’s opening song, “Cry Baby.” The ending theme for the first 12 episodes is “Koko de Iki wo shite” by Eill. After that, Nakimushi’s “Tokyo Wonder” serves as the ending credits.

The original Japanese version of “Tokyo Revengers” episodes with English subtitles will be available on Crunchyroll and VRV outside of Asia the same day they air in Japan. For viewers in South and Southeast Asia, the official YouTube channel of Muse Asia, its affiliates and Bilibili will stream the episodes continuously. In Japan, viewers can watch anime on Netflix Japan with Japanese audio and subtitles.

Tokyo Revengers Episode 14 Spoilers

In episode 13, Takemichi attends Hinata’s funeral, but his determination overcomes his pain. Later, he tells Naoto that he will return and become Toman’s leader to destroy him from within. The only time he lets his grief overwhelm him is when Hinata’s mother returns the necklace she gave to Hinata. He and Naoto are still baffled by this turn of events, as they truly believed that they had changed the future by preventing Draken’s death.

Naoto learns that Draken is currently on death row. Takemichi visits his old friend with Naoto and discovers that Kisaki Tetta is also involved in Draken’s incarceration. Toman’s former vice-captain announces that if he had another chance, he would kill Kisaki. Before leaving, Draken asks Takemichi to leave Tokyo. Takemichi decides to go back there again and try to become the leader of Toman’s 3rd Division. After shaking hands with Naoto, Takemichi ends up in a public bathroom with Draken and Mikey. The episode ends when they meet the other members of Toman to decide on the next leader of Division 3.

In Episode 14, Takemichi might discover that Mikey has chosen none other than kisaki as the new captain of the 3rd Division. He was previously involved with Moebius, but since Mikey believes they need to expand their gang, he recruited Kisaki. Mikey could also reveal his intention to hunt down the Valhalla gang.
