While South Korean music and drama have taken over the world recently, the same cannot be said for the peninsular country’s comic book industry. Korean webtoons, also known as manhwas, have captivated people of all ages around the world since time immemorial. While not as popular as Japanese manga, the Manhwas have certainly created a category of their own. In this category, Torre de Dios is undoubtedly one of the easiest names to recognize. However, the webtoon’s indefinite hiatus for quite some time has left fans desperate with one question: Is the Tower of God webtoon over? Let’s take a look at what we know so far.
Tower of God is a Korean manhwa series created by famous artist SIU. This is a story whose plot is defined as a Talse Uzer story. The main characteristic of these stories is that they are based on a universe called Talse Uzer. The rules of this universe are markedly different from ours. Here the past cannot change and the future is definitely fixed.
Tower of God is primarily the story of a boy who chases a girl in her desperate attempts to scale a tower. But not everything is as simple as it seems. All his life, Baam was interested in only one girl, Rachel. He wants to continue living his life with her. However, one day Rachel decides to climb the tower. Baam then decides to follow her. But this is not just any tower. You have to play and solve puzzles to go to the next level. And he’s already far behind Rachel, who started long before him.
Is the Tower of God Webtoon finished?
The Tower of God Webtoon is far from over! The Tower of God exists as a Korean manhwa since 2010. It was published by Naver Webtoon. English translations of the manhwa have been available since 2014. Tower of God Chapter 485 was released on June 29, 2020. Since then, fans around the world have been waiting for Chapter 486. After this update, the webtoon has experienced an indefinite hiatus. The main cause of this interruption was the deterioration of the SIU’s health status. However, in May 2021, almost an 11-month hiatus later, the webtoon updated Chapter 486 on Naver. On August 10, 2021, Tower of God Chapter 503 was released. The English version of the latest chapter is not yet available, but will be soon. Don’t worry, the Tower of God webtoon is far from over!
Tower of God Chapter 503 Highlights
Interestingly, in this chapter we see Hockney and Rak outsmart the Crab. They made him believe that they had bought the parts of the triangle symbol with their tips. And so that they only looked for fish that had this symbol. This allowed the Crab to display its power: crab bubbles and catching blue fish with triangle symbols. Later, Hockney and Rak told the Crab that they hadn’t actually spent their points on anything. After tricking the Crab, they used 50 points to buy 20 triangle coins.
Meanwhile, Yama has a flashback of his father. He also tells Doom that he feels stronger thanks to the set that Doom has pierced into his heart. The chapter finally ends and the focus is on White and Baam. White is frustrated that he has not received any response. He is increasingly desperate. He exclaims that he is impatient to see a noble being like his father fall into corruption. The announcer claims that the jump will start soon. Only 10 seconds left on the clock! The chapter ends with Baam exclaiming, “He is coming.”
Tower of God chapter 504 release date
Tower of God Chapter 504 will be released on August 17, 2021. You can watch it on Naver and Webtoon.
