The Lord of the Rings Season 1: Prime Video has revealed the release date and an unreleased image

The television series The Lord of the Rings has revealed a first image of the set and has announced a release date for the first season. The adaptation of the famous saga was started by Amazon Prime Video and JRR Tolkien’s fantasy fiction will hit the streaming platform on Friday, September 2, 2022.

The original creation finished filming the first season in New Zealand on Monday. Still, the amount of post-production work is huge, so it’s understandable why the new series won’t hit the streaming service for another year.

On the other hand, in addition to announcing the release date of the first season of fiction, Prime Video also released a new and official image. However, details of the character’s identity have yet to be revealed.

The international cast of the television series will include a large number of actors but here is a small preview of what you will be able to find on your screens in a year: Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Arrow), Nazanin Boniadi (How i met your mother), Peter Mullan (Harry Potter), Maxim Baldry (Years and years) and Lenny Henry (Zog).
